Oh sisters in Islâm! We at DTSSBC is happy to present to our sisters our second publication with Umm Ahmed Salwaa Subki (may Allâh preserve her) which is entitled “Oh My Noble Sisters Work for Your Hereafter.” Which was a lecture given at our requests from her. We had the honor of hosting her here in America in 2007 Masha ‘Allâh in which she stayed with us a week by Allâh’s permission. At any rate, we ask that you make Du’aa (supplication), for her and her family and that you also supplicate for us to continue in our small efforts in propagating Islâm to the Muslim women, as well as to the Muslims in general. DTSSBC would like to thank all those who have supported us throughout the years and we ask Allâh the Almighty that he gives you good suspicions of us Aameen.

Our purpose for this publication is to give concern about us as Muslim women looking to better ourselves when it comes to working for the Hereafter, too often we find ourselves indulging in the matters of the Dunya (worldly life), not giving any concern for our afterlife Allâh says regarding this matter:

“Know that the life of this world is only play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children. (It is) as the likeness of vegetation after rain, thereof the growth is pleasing to the tiller; afterwards it dries up and you see it turning yellow; then it becomes straw. But in the Hereafter (there is) a severe torment (for the disbelievers - evil-doers), and (there is) Forgiveness from Allâh and (His) Good Pleasure (for the believers - good-doers). And the life of this world is only a deceiving enjoyment.”

After reading this book you should feel a sense of urgency to please Allâh the Most High. Also, you should want to do more good deeds to help your scale in the Hereafter.
